What SpillNerd publishes
SpillNerd publishes environmental reference material, practical planning guides, and browser tools under the SpillNerd brand. It is a Qwikymart LLC project. Content is not presented as the advice or endorsement of an employer, regulator, or named individual.
Sources and limits
Regulations, agency publications, and official technical references take priority over summaries. Links let readers check the underlying source. Rules can depend on jurisdiction, facility conditions, dates, and exceptions. A source link is not a claim that every statement on a page has been independently certified. Check current requirements with the responsible authority before a compliance decision.
Reference data and tools
UN records compile reference fields into a consistent format. They are lookup aids, not original incident reporting or shipment approval. Calculators depend on the assumptions and inputs shown. They do not replace a waste determination, shipping classification, permit, laboratory result, or qualified assessment.
Examples and corrections
Illustrative scenarios and arithmetic are identified as examples. An undocumented incident is not evidence for a price, penalty, or outcome. Significant corrections should identify what changed and the revision date. Send a page URL, the disputed statement, and a primary source to [email protected].
Advertising and listings
Ads are separate from editorial guidance. Paid partnerships and affiliate relationships must be disclosed where they appear. Directory inclusion does not certify a provider's qualifications, availability, or suitability. Verify those details directly before hiring a provider.
Using the guides
Start with the source and scope, record what is known, and leave missing information unresolved until it is checked. For an active emergency, use emergency contacts; sending an editorial correction is not a regulatory notification.
